Sales Policy
Deposit:
Rabbits can be placed on hold with a non-refundable 50% deposit. Deposits can be made by Pay Pal, Money Gram, or Postal Money Order only. Please don't send Cash or Checks. The sale will be considered PENDING for 7 days awaiting deposit. Once the deposit has been received, the rabbits will be marked HOLD. If we do not receive the deposit within 7 days, and/or other arrangements haven't been made, the rabbit will be released for sale. Please inquire about rabbits marked pending, as sometimes sales fall through for various reasons.
Balance:
The balance must be paid in the form of Cash, Postal Money Order, Money Gram, or Pay Pal at or before pick up/delivery. No checks will be accepted at any time.
Finalization:
Unless other arrangements are made, pick up must be completed within 2 weeks of deposit being received and/or the rabbit coming of age to leave. If they are not picked up within 2 weeks, then a small feed bill ($5 per day) is incurred. PLUS, the rabbit can be sold to someone else if the time gets ridiculous . If other arrangements have not been made, and the rabbits are still here 30 days past the date of the deposit being received the sale will be void and the deposit forfeited. If the remaining balance isn't paid how and when it was agreed upon, for any reason, then the sale can/will be void and the deposit forfeited. This includes delivery fees to me or anyone delivering for me. Sorry that I've had to add this latest to my policy.
We will gladly bring the rabbits to a show we are attending for pick up. We will deliver or meet within 1 hour from our house with a minimum purchase of $100. Also, on certain occasions we may be able to deliver, but we will charge $.40 a mile round trip. We reserve the right to refuse delivery for any reason.
COMING SOON: We are checking into shipping. But there will be a minimum purchase of $200. Please understand that this is on top of the shipping charges and vet charges. Shipping will be weather permitting.
Ray Rabbitry's Guarantee:
We guarantee against genetic defects. We also guarantee against malocclusion up to 4 months. After 4 months teeth problems are due to injury, not genetics. We guarantee that the rabbit was healthy at the time of sale. We guarantee that they show no signs of disease, diarrhea, or nasal/eye discharge. If the rabbit dies within 10 days we will replace your rabbit depending on availability. If a replacement is not possible then we will refund your money. You will need to contact us immediately and we will require a veterinary statement from your vet proving cause of death.
We will not guarantee a rabbit outside of the 10 day period. We do not guarantee against death including but not limited to the following: abuse, neglect, extreme temperatures, malnourishment, improper housing (which causes sickness or death), injury from other animals, exposure to other illnesses and sicknesses by other animals during travel, shows, or at your residence. We also sex our rabbits at 3-4 weeks old. We recheck often, but sometimes mistakes are made. We encourage and expect you to check the sex of any and all rabbits that you purchase before you leave. We will no longer refund for a rabbit being the wrong sex after it has left our care. We will exchange for a rabbit of the correct sex, and you will have to choose from a rabbit of the same price...not necessarily the same sex or Variety.
Special Information:
There are special circumstances that a deposit will be refunded. Once you get here and you decide that the rabbit is just not what you were looking for. In this case, your deposit will be refunded once the rabbit is resold. If something happens to the rabbit here, or if we notice some problem with the rabbit then you may have your deposit back or put it toward another rabbit of your choice. If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental consent to buy any of our rabbits.
